Getting to Charlotte, NC

 

 

By plane

Charlotte Douglas International  Airport (CLT) is the major commercial airport for the Metropolitan Charlotte, NC and upstate South Carolina. It is 8 miles from Uptown Charlotte . Currently the airport in served by all major domestic and international airlines. This is the preferred airport for travelling to the family reunion.

Ground Transportation Options  from the airport Rental car facilities are also available at the airport. In addition, there are taxis, CLT Sprinter bus, ride share companies, and hotel shuttles from the airport.

By train

Amtrak  Charlotte, NC Train Station is near downtown Charlotte, close to many attractions.

 

By car

Interstate:  If travelling from The North or The South, all roads lead to Charlotte via Interstates I-85 and I-77.
